Greg Davies returns as the Taskmaster to judge five fresh rivals who are confronted with tasks involving vegetable propulsion, out-of-season snowmen and taking the fewest steps to reach some soup. The show climaxes in some swede-on-Swede action.

Greg Davies abuses his position of power to make five comics take on more tenuous tasks and this week they have to try and surprise Alex Horne when he emerges from his shed, make an upside-down portrait using condiments, pop some balloons and release Alex from some handcuffs by solving a puzzle.

As the series reaches its midway point, Greg Davies’s onslaught of tasks don’t get any easier – with domino rallies, flag meals and, when asked to fill an eggcup with sweat, Al Murray goes to extreme lengths to maximise his point potential.
